Well this is the question l have to ask myself quite frequently these days. We are already in 2020 and it feels as though we will soon be at the end of January before we know it.
I actually did have to get a little help from Dave, but then l still ended up changing the template again. I think l will stick with this one for now and then as l really get in the swing of things, l’ll venture into different templates and maybe even adjust it too.
Well since my last post there have been quite a few Elvis shows and l have to say that l am enjoying every minute of it. We’ve been to Cheltenham, Swindon, Louth, Bromley, Scunthorpe, Barnstaple, Newbridge, Weston-Super-Mare, Frimley Green and Norwich to date. Norwich for me being the largest audience at 1,400 people. It was great looking up at the audience, looking at a full house. The funny thing is that it did not seem overwhelming or anything, probably because there was a big light beaming in my face. Hearing the crowds applause at the end was amazing.
Nadine was with us for the first time and she did amazing. Gen will be with us for the next two shows which will be in Lichfield. They had to add another show as the first date sold out although l do see a couple of seats available. There are quite a few on the Saturday, but it should still be a great night.
I had a rehearsal with the ladies to go over the bf’s last week and it went really well. It was nice being in the position of going over vocals as it is something l really love to do. There are things that Rob has started to implement and will continue doing so in this new year which are very exciting, but l can’t say yet. It was also really nice seeing the new projection on the back screen. The show really is being taken to another level…it’s going to be good.
Okay the thing is l really want to start a youtube channel. I already have a channel, but it has been redundant for quite a while. But along with this blog l think it is going to be great having the footage edited and put out there…just logging my journey with the AVOE team. l have quite a few pictures and footage, well more footage than pictures, but l am working out what to do with it all. I think it is going to be a case of playing catchup.
Over Christmas with family and friends l was thinking that because l had not edited the footage it was too late, but l was encouraged that it was ok. That l could just load them as my ‘subscribers’ will just enjoy watching and following me on the journey. So maybe on this platform l will just continue from here on and just Let you know how l am getting on. Especially with how l am getting on with editing the footage and how l get the footage etc. I think l might be ok with this blog, but as you know this took a little time to get sorted and l really just want to get cracking with this as there are a few other things l need to do. I really don’t want to be in this perpetual stage of trying and not getting anywhere. But l guess they say if you keep trying you will eventually succeed.
Ok so l have just tried to proof and edit this post, but for some reason l am not able to go back into the paragraph fields and edit. I only seem to be able to type this paragraph. So L apologise for any discrepancies with this blog as l have not been able to amend. I guess this is just another thing l have to get my head around.
